Role Summary
Lead silicon qualification and validation activities for embedded memory (SRAM) in production and test chips. The role is part of an R&D organization that collaborates with design, test, and customer teams to investigate silicon failures, analyze test data, and define qualification criteria.
This position requires hands-on debugging, data-driven root-cause analysis, technical reporting, and cross-organizational leadership to improve silicon test methodologies and product quality.

Responsibilities
The role's core responsibilities include silicon debug, data analysis, reporting, and cross-functional leadership.
- Investigate and debug embedded memory on silicon test chips; identify root causes of functional failures and test parameter discrepancies.
- Analyze large volumes of silicon test data using tools such as JMP or Yield Explorer to extract actionable insights.
- Write and publish detailed silicon validation reports and communicate findings to internal teams and customers.
- Initiate and lead cross-organizational projects to improve silicon testing methodologies and product quality.
- Advise senior management on specialized technical or business issues and act as a technical spokesperson for major programs.
- Develop and refine methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for silicon qualification.
- Collaborate with design, test, and customer teams to resolve complex silicon issues and drive continuous improvement.
Requirements

- Minimum 12+ years of semiconductor engineering experience focused on embedded memory, silicon testing, and validation.
- Extensive knowledge of embedded SRAM memory design, silicon test methodologies, and debug processes.
- Proficiency with data analysis tools such as JMP, Yield Explorer, or similar platforms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with demonstrated root-cause analysis and solution implementation.
- Excellent technical writing skills for comprehensive silicon validation reports and documentation.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives, communicate at a high technical level, and mentor others.
