Principal Product Engineer

Role Summary

The Principal Product Engineer will play a crucial role in managing the introduction and deployment of HAV FPGA products, primarily assisting customers in North America. This position requires a deep technical understanding of product functionalities and customer needs in the Electronic Design Automation sector.

Experience Level

This position is intended for candidates with significant experience, specifically at least 15 years in the electronics or semiconductor industries, with a strong background in EDA or related software technologies.

Responsibilities

As a Principal Product Engineer, the primary responsibilities include:

• Acting as the technical point of contact for the proFPGA product line.
• Driving technical decisions in alignment with customer requirements and the company's strategic vision.
• Interfacing with customers to enhance product use and relay feedback to product management.
• Utilizing complex design tasks across various environments to define marketing requirements.
• Providing advanced customer support during technology deployment.
• Coordinating day-to-day customer interactions and presentations.
• Managing complex projects independently with minimal supervision.

Requirements

Candidates should possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s or PhD in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Extensive knowledge and practical experience in EDA technologies, especially in FPGA operations.
• Strong technical expertise as both a design and verification engineer.
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical teams and advocate for specific solutions.
• Proficiency in SystemVerilog, C/C++/SystemC, and FPGA tools and methodologies.
• Exceptional presentation skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences.

Education Requirements

Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering or a relevant field is required.
