Work involves fine‑line CMOS and high‑speed bipolar technologies, chiplet/system‑level design, and close collaboration with cross‑functional teams to integrate designs into production test solutions.
Experience Level
Senior — requires 7+ years of relevant experience.
Responsibilities
Primary technical and leadership duties:
- Lead architecture and detailed design of complex mixed‑signal ICs for ATE applications.
- Design wireline transmitters and receivers and develop mixed‑mode DFE solutions.
- Design and implement clock & data recovery (CDR) circuits and contribute to VCO/PLL designs.
- Apply analog and digital wireline equalization techniques and digitally‑assisted high‑speed analog design.
- Design custom high‑speed digital circuits and integrate chiplets into system designs.
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship to junior engineers, and present results to stakeholders.
Requirements
Must‑have qualifications and desirable skills.
-
Must-have: 7+ years of system design / architecture engineering and integration experience.
- Proven experience in RF or high‑speed CMOS and/or data converter design.
- Expertise with FinFET processes (e.g., 16nm, 5nm) or fine‑line planar analog CMOS (e.g., 28nm).
- Experience with software‑defined CMOS communications or radar system design.
- Proficiency in digitally‑assisted high‑speed analog design and wireline equalization (analog & digital).
- Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Willingness to travel (~10%).
- Must be eligible for roles that may require U.S. export licensing review (note: non‑U.S. citizens may need export license approval).
-
Nice-to-have: project management experience, strong analytical/problem‑solving skills, experience with VCO/PLL, DFE, CDR, and high‑speed digital circuit design.
Education Requirements
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) required; Master of Science in Electrical Engineering (MSEE) preferred. Fields cited: Electrical Engineering and related technical fields. No explicit statement offering an "equivalent experience" alternative was provided in the posting.
