Role Summary

Join the Automotive GMSL Team as a Principal Mixed-Signal Design Engineer, leading the design and architecture of innovative products for Automotive SerDes applications.

Senior level with a requirement of 10+ years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

The Principal Mixed-Signal Design Engineer will:

  • Evaluate and develop architectures for circuit blocks and perform system-level analysis.
  • Oversee analog and mixed-signal circuits throughout the product development cycle.
  • Conduct detailed circuit design and verification of high-performance SerDes and auxiliary circuits.
  • Provide technical leadership for complex SerDes products.
  • Supervise layout and conduct post-layout simulations.
  • Prepare documentation and conduct design reviews.
  • Perform lab evaluations and debugging.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and specifications.

Requirements

Candidates must meet the following qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • 10+ years of experience in high-speed SerDes circuit design.
  • Expertise with Cadence design and verification tools.
  • Solid understanding of semiconductor basics and device physics.
  • Strong analytical skills and circuit analysis capabilities.
  • Experience in lab environments for mixed-signal SoCs debugging.
  • Clear communication skills and a proactive problem-solving approach.

Education Requirements

A Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent is required.
