Responsibilities
The Principal Mixed-Signal Design Engineer will:
- Evaluate and develop architectures for circuit blocks and perform system-level analysis.
- Oversee analog and mixed-signal circuits throughout the product development cycle.
- Conduct detailed circuit design and verification of high-performance SerDes and auxiliary circuits.
- Provide technical leadership for complex SerDes products.
- Supervise layout and conduct post-layout simulations.
- Prepare documentation and conduct design reviews.
- Perform lab evaluations and debugging.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and specifications.
Requirements
Candidates must meet the following qualifications:
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- 10+ years of experience in high-speed SerDes circuit design.
- Expertise with Cadence design and verification tools.
- Solid understanding of semiconductor basics and device physics.
- Strong analytical skills and circuit analysis capabilities.
- Experience in lab environments for mixed-signal SoCs debugging.
- Clear communication skills and a proactive problem-solving approach.
Education Requirements
A Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent is required.
