Principal Mixed-Signal Design Engineer

Role Summary

The Principal Mixed-Signal Design Engineer will be part of the Advanced Cores Group (ACG) at Analog Devices, focusing on the development of ADC, DAC, and SerDes PHY subsystems for mixed-signal SoC integrated circuits. The role emphasizes innovative design and technical leadership in high-performance circuit development.

Experience Level

Senior; at least 10 years of experience in mixed-signal integrated circuit development is required.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the Principal Mixed-Signal Design Engineer include:

  • Developing and selecting mixed-signal subsystem implementation architectures.
  • Designing transistor-level mixed-signal integrated circuits.
  • Preparing design documentation and conducting design reviews.
  • Leading development efforts for mixed-signal integrated circuit subsystems.
  • Mentoring junior mixed-signal design engineers.
  • Guiding the layout and evaluation of mixed-signal integrated circuits.
  • Conducting tests and evaluations of integrated circuits.

Requirements

Successful candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • MS in Electrical Engineering.
  • 10+ years of engineering experience in mixed-signal integrated circuit development.
  • Deep understanding of data converter and/or SerDes PHY architectures.
  • Solid grasp of mixed-signal design fundamentals and methodologies.
  • Experience with integrated circuit product development processes.
  • Strong leadership, teamwork, and communication skills.

Education Requirements

A master’s degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
