Role Summary

The Infinity Fabric transport layer verification team is seeking a principal verification engineer to validate the configurable switches and die-to-die interconnect for AMD products across multiple platforms. This role entails significant involvement in pre-silicon verification efforts and mentoring of junior engineers.

Experience Level

This position is suited for an experienced professional with extensive industry experience, particularly in verifying complex design blocks within IP or SoC frameworks using SystemVerilog/UVM.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create project schedules and staging plans for new feature development.
  • Develop and enhance SystemVerilog / UVM-based testbenches for AI and Server product features.
  • Collaborate with architects and design teams to deepen understanding of Infinity Fabric architecture.
  • Lead verification teams in executing new feature verifications efficiently.
  • Communicate effectively with project management regarding new feature development timelines.
  • Mentor junior verification engineers.

Requirements

  • Proven industry experience in verification of complex design blocks.
  • Strong foundation in Systems & SoC architecture, especially with CPUs, GPUs, and memory subsystems.
  • Experience architecting and developing verification environments using SystemVerilog or C++.
  • Track record of implementing verification tests, sequences, and coverage groups.
  • Excellent management and presentation skills.

Education Requirements

Master’s degree in a related discipline is preferred.
