Principal Engineer - Systems Design/Architecture Engineering

Role Summary

The Principal Engineer for Systems Design and Architecture will play a crucial role in defining products that will ensure Analog Devices remains competitive in the evolving automotive industry. This position entails collaboration with diverse teams, engaging in independent research, and developing technical solutions that align with market demands for the next 3-5 years.

Experience Level

This role requires a seasoned engineer with over 10 years of experience in related fields, particularly within automotive applications and electronics design.

Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

• Developing expertise in GMSL PHY and link layer technologies.
• Providing technical expertise for the OpenGMSL Association (OGA) standard.
• Contributing to work groups and guiding standards development.
• Creating system models and running simulations for architectural evaluation.
• Engaging with customers and technology partners globally.
• Providing technical support for RFI/RFQ responses.
• Promoting OpenGMSL through presentations and publications.
• Traveling as necessary to meet with stakeholders.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess strong listening and communication skills, with the capacity to work independently and within a team. A bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required, along with a demonstrated background in analog and digital design.

Education Requirements

Applicants should have a B.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering, with a preference for candidates holding an M.Sc. or Ph.D. degree.
