Role Summary

Lead and execute complex integrated circuit design projects in a semiconductor product development team. Work across architecture, RTL/implementation, and verification domains to deliver production-quality silicon.

This role partners with cross-functional teams (verification, physical design, firmware, test, and product management) and mentors engineers to ensure timely delivery and technical quality.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include technical leadership, design delivery, and cross-team coordination.

• Drive end-to-end design tasks: architecture refinement, RTL implementation, and design reviews.
• Collaborate with verification and physical design teams to meet timing, power, and area targets.
• Define and track design schedules, risks, and mitigations to ensure on-time tapeout.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers; provide technical direction and code/design reviews.
• Resolve design issues in silicon bring-up and support post-silicon validation where needed.
• Document design specifications, implementation details, and handoff packages for downstream teams.

• Must-have: Several years of proven experience in IC/ASIC design, RTL/logic design, or equivalent engineering work; strong knowledge of digital design flows and EDA tools.
• Must-have: Practical experience with design-for-test, timing closure, synthesis, and static timing analysis.
• Must-have: Proficiency with scripting (Perl/Python/Tcl) and familiarity with build/automation flows.
• Must-have: Demonstrated ability to lead technical projects and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Nice-to-have: Experience with mixed-signal, analog blocks, or SoC-level integration.
• Nice-to-have: Prior experience with silicon bring-up, characterization, or production test.
