The role involves leading the SOC and MCU architecture team to define system architecture and technical specifications based on business and product requirements. Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the SOC/MCU architecture team to define system architecture and technical specifications.
- Driving end-to-end development ensuring high-quality and timely tape-out.
- Collaborating with product marketing, program management, software, and manufacturing teams.
- Making key technical decisions regarding IP selection and strategy.
- Managing and mentoring R&D teams, assessing capabilities, and contributing to product and architecture planning.
- Improving development processes to enhance quality, cost, and efficiency.
- Engaging with external stakeholders and promoting knowledge sharing in the organization.
Requirements
The following qualifications are necessary:
- Strong background in system and architecture-level design.
- Experience leading full product development cycles.
- Solid understanding of advanced technology nodes and hands-on tapeout experience.
- Experience in NPI development with leadership capabilities.
- Knowledge of industry-standard tools and methodologies.
- Fluency in Japanese in a professional setting.
Education Requirements
A Bachelor's or higher degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science is preferred.
