The Principal Digital Design Engineer will join the Impinj RAIN RFID Reader IC Engineering team to lead the microarchitecture definition and implementation of subsystems for new Reader ICs. This role requires a strong background in SoC subsystem definition and digital design, as well as experience in moving designs from concept to production.
The position focuses on owning the development of critical technologies that contribute to the functionality of RAIN RFID Reader ICs. The role involves collaboration with various teams to establish product specifications and ensure the delivery of high-quality designs.
This role requires over 15 years of experience in the field of electrical or computer engineering, particularly in defining and implementing SoC IP blocks and managing complex digital design projects.
Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in electrical or computer engineering or a related field. They must demonstrate extensive knowledge of SoC design methodologies, experience with RTL development using Verilog/SystemVerilog, and a solid understanding of system architectures.

The typical salary range for this position is $179,700 to $269,600, based on factors including experience and job complexity. Additional performance-based compensation may apply.
