Role Overview
The Principal ASIC Digital Design Engineer will leverage over 15 years of extensive experience in ASIC development to guide technical teams in the execution of complex mixed-signal SoC designs. This role requires a visionary with a strong track record in architectural modeling, system validation, and advanced hardware emulation methodologies.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the architectural design and emulation of advanced mixed-signal SoCs, focusing on SerDes PHY products.
- Develop and integrate strategies for hardware emulation using FPGA platforms such as Zebu and HAPS.
- Oversee the validation of prototypes for industry-standard protocols like PCIE, Ethernet, and USB.
- Direct the optimization of verification environments employing UVM and SystemVerilog.
- Implement automation initiatives through scripting in Shell, Perl, Python, and C++.
- Mentor engineering teams, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and technical excellence.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design quality and achieve project milestones.
- Lead continuous improvement efforts in functional and performance testing on hardware and test-chips.
Candidate Requirements
- A minimum of 15 years of experience in ASIC design and verification.
- Extensive knowledge of hardware emulation platforms (Zebu, HAPS) and FPGA prototyping.
- Strong expertise in system-level validation for protocols such as PCIE, Ethernet, and USB.
- Experience developing UVM-based verification environments and handling SystemVerilog testbenches.
- Proficiency in scripting languages including Shell, Perl, Python, and C++ for process automation.
- Proven leadership in coaching and developing engineering talent within technical teams.
- Excellent communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
- Familiarity with firmware development and microprocessor integration is advantageous.
Education Requirements
