Role Summary

Lead technical customer engagements for the Applications Engineering team, providing hands-on troubleshooting, technical guidance, and solution integration to enable successful deployment and adoption of Synopsys products.

This is an onsite role based in Mississauga, Ontario, working closely with customers and internal product/engineering teams.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include:

• Serve as technical lead for customer-facing engagements, diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues.
• Integrate, validate, and demonstrate Synopsys tools and solutions in customer environments.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and support teams to escalate and resolve product issues and to drive product improvements.
• Create and maintain technical examples, application notes, and demonstrations to support customer adoption.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to other applications engineers and cross-functional teams.

• Must-have: Proven technical experience in customer-facing engineering roles, strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills, and excellent written and verbal communication.
• Must-have: Ability to work onsite in Mississauga, ON and engage directly with customers and internal teams.
• Nice-to-have: Experience with EDA/semiconductor toolchains, FPGA/emulation, or related hardware/software integration.
• Nice-to-have: Experience mentoring engineers and producing technical collateral (demos, application notes).
