Senior level — Principal/experienced engineer. Requires 12+ years of Analog/RF design experience.
Responsibilities
Deliver and verify analog/RF components and support their integration into production ICs.
- Create and develop Analog/RF systems and sub-systems using industry best practices for design, verification, and testing.
- Write verification plans and develop automated test benches; create and verify behavioral models (Verilog-A/AMS, SystemVerilog-RNM, Wreal).
- Design and verify Analog/RF blocks and sub-blocks (transmitter, PA, LNA, filters, ADC) to at least 20 GHz using standard EDA tools.
- Collaborate with IC layout engineers to optimize design and layout for DFT, isolation and power.
- Host design and verification reviews and mentor engineers and interns.
- Support lab evaluation, characterization and testing; work with product teams to meet specifications and schedules.
- Drive productivity improvements through improved methodologies, tooling and documentation.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and experience; preferred items listed separately.
- 12+ years of analog/RF design experience.
- Hands-on circuit design experience for transceivers and analog/mixed-signal blocks.
- Proven experience with Cadence Virtuoso and standard design flows.
- Detailed analog/mixed-signal design experience on advanced CMOS process nodes.
- Ability to work independently on complex tasks and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
- Clear written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
Nice-to-have:
- Experience with high-frequency RF designs and bringing chip designs to product release.
- Working knowledge of EM field solvers such as Momentum, EMX or HFSS.
Education Requirements
Required: Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering or a related field. Preferred: Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering or related field. The posting allows equivalent practical experience in lieu of an advanced degree. Fields include Electronic/Electrical Engineering and related technical disciplines.
