The Principal Analog IP Design Lead will oversee the design and development of analog/mixed signal IP for microcontrollers (MCUs). This role includes defining requirements, leading a team of designers, and ensuring high-quality IP integration into SOC products.
Experience Level
Senior level, with a minimum of 10 years of product development experience required.
Responsibilities
The Principal Analog IP Design Lead will be responsible for the following:
- Define analog/mixed signal IP requirements based on product needs.
- Create innovative circuit architectures to meet specifications.
- Lead the implementation, simulation, layout, and validation of various analog and mixed signal IP components.
- Oversee design reviews and documentation of IPs.
- Collaborate with SOC teams to ensure quality integration of IP.
- Support productization efforts including testing and characterization.
Requirements
The following skills and qualifications are required:
- Bachelor's degree in electronic/electrical engineering; Master's preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in product development.
- Experience with ADC, DAC, PLL, oscillators, and other analog IP.
- Familiarity with behavioral modeling tools is a plus.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Experience mentoring junior engineers.
Education Requirements
A Bachelor's degree in electronic or electrical engineering is required, with a Master's degree preferred.
