Post-silicon Validation Staff Engineer
Role Summary
As a post-silicon validation engineer in the Automotive System Power team, you will plan and execute device-level validation for IPD/HSS power products for automotive and industrial applications. You will verify functionality, collect and analyze measurement data, and produce technical reports to support product qualification.
You will collaborate with design, system, and test teams and may design simple evaluation hardware when required. This role is based in Kodaira with a hybrid work pattern.
Experience Level
Mid-level — requires at least 3 years of hands-on post-silicon validation experience.
Responsibilities
The engineer will own validation activities from test planning through data analysis and reporting.
- Develop and execute post-silicon validation plans and test procedures.
- Operate laboratory measurement equipment (power supplies, oscilloscopes, and related instruments) to collect data.
- Design, build, and check out simple evaluation hardware when necessary.
- Aggregate, analyze, and interpret test data against product requirements; prepare technical reports.
- Coordinate with design, system, and test teams; report project progress, issues, and risks.
Requirements
Must-have:
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on post-silicon validation experience.
- Experience operating lab measurement equipment such as power supplies and oscilloscopes.
- Experience planning validation activities, executing tests, analyzing data, and producing reports.
Nice-to-have:
- Python scripting experience.
- Knowledge of power electronics.
- Basic English communication skills.
