Photo DUV PE Engineer
Role Summary
Process Engineering role focused on deep ultraviolet (DUV) photolithography for semiconductor memory manufacturing at Micron's Taichung Fab 16. The engineer will implement, optimize and transfer DUV processes to improve yield, quality and productivity.
Works on cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies, diagnose process issues, and lead projects to production readiness and continuous improvement.
Experience Level
Mid-level — typical expectation: minimum 3 years of relevant semiconductor photolithography or process engineering experience.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Implement and optimize DUV photolithography processes to meet production quality and efficiency targets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (process, equipment, yield, integration) to resolve engineering challenges and enable technology integration.
- Monitor, analyze, and report process performance; perform root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
- Lead and contribute to projects from concept through qualification and production transfer.
- Identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities to achieve operational excellence.
Requirements
Must-have and preferred qualifications:

Must-have: Proven experience in DUV photolithography process engineering and hands-on experience with advanced photolithography equipment and integration.

Must-have: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, including root-cause analysis and data-driven decision making.

Must-have: Effective written and verbal communication skills and ability to work in diverse, cross-functional teams.

Must-have: Demonstrated ability to manage and complete engineering projects to qualification and production transfer.

Nice-to-have: Experience with yield improvement, process control methodologies, and semiconductor manufacturing environments, especially memory technology.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Materials Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
