Role Summary

This role involves working with cross-functional teams to verify secure ASIC cores developed by the Rambus Security Division. The candidate will lead verification methodologies and collaborate closely with design engineers, security experts, and cryptographers.

Level - Senior

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of verification methodologies, test plans, testbenches, infrastructure, and platforms.
• Collaborate with architecture and design teams in specification and customer requirement reviews.
• Represent verification methodologies to customers and executive management.
• Architect and implement verification best practices and improvements.
• Address complex problems and develop scalable solutions.
• Assist in various hardware project phases including bring-up, testing, and debug.
• Support IP integration in partner environments and assist customer support teams.

Requirements

• BS or MS in electrical or computer engineering or a related field; relevant experience may substitute educational requirements.
• Ten or more years in verification engineering or related fields.
• Strong communication skills, able to convey complex concepts to technical audiences.
• Ownership of verification aspects including methodology leadership.
• Familiarity with ASIC verification techniques, such as test planning and coding.
• Experience in testbench methodologies (UVM or OVM) and languages.
• Proficiency with Unix development environments and EDA tools (VCS, Xcelium).
• Knowledge of verification techniques and protocols (e.g. APB, AXI, Ethernet).

Education Requirements

BS or MS degree in electrical or computer engineering or closely related degree preferred.
