Job Title

OPC Modeling & Simulation Product Engineer

Role Summary

Product Engineer on the Calibre Resolution Enhancement Technology (RET) team responsible for developing accurate modeling and simulation solutions for lithographic patterning processes and supporting industry deployment of OPC and advanced RET features.

The role works with software engineering, product marketing, customers, and research partners to define capabilities, improve simulations, and deliver technical training and support.

Experience Level

Mid-level β€” Minimum of 3 years of relevant industry experience.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include development, validation, customer support, and cross-functional collaboration.

  • Develop and improve OPC/RET modeling and simulation solutions for patterning processes.
  • Characterize new RET capabilities and validate models against process data.
  • Provide in-depth technical support, training, and documentation to customers and partners.
  • Collaborate with software engineering and product marketing to prioritize and communicate product features.
  • Support research partnerships and transfer research results into productized capabilities.
  • Comply with export-control requirements; role may require verification of U.S. Person status or obtaining an export license.

Requirements

Required skills and experience, plus desirable qualifications.

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant industry experience (RET, lithography, or related semiconductor process work).
  • Working familiarity with Unix/Linux operating systems.
  • Well-developed written and oral communication skills for customer-facing support and training.
  • Nice-to-have: experience with scripting or programming (TCL, Perl, Python, C).
  • Nice-to-have: experience with OPC modeling, OPC set-up, lithographic processing, or OPC software development.
  • Nice-to-have: detailed understanding of photoresist chemistry and semiconductor processing/lithography.

Education Requirements

MSEE / MS or PhD in Physics, Physical Chemistry, or Electrical Engineering required.
