Network Solution Verification Engineer
NVIDIAJob Title
Network Solution Verification Engineer
Role Summary
Hands-on engineering role in R&D responsible for validating NVIDIA's customer-facing networking solutions at scale using an end-to-end simulation cluster. The role focuses on building simulation frameworks, automated regression pipelines, and AI-driven validation flows to ensure solution quality before release.
Work closely with design, architecture, DevOps, and customer-facing teams to translate requirements into repeatable simulation scenarios and provide actionable feedback.
Experience Level
Mid-level - typically 3+ years of hands-on software development experience.
Responsibilities
Deliverable-focused duties required to validate networking solutions and automate large-scale simulation and regression workflows.
- Design and implement end-to-end validation frameworks for customer networking solutions using an E2E simulation cluster.
- Author and maintain automated test suites and regression pipelines for protocol and large-scale simulation runs.
- Perform regression analysis on simulation results; identify failure trends and isolate root causes.
- Develop agentic AI flows to autonomously detect coverage gaps, generate tests, and synthesize validation code.
- Integrate validation pipelines into CI/CD to enable continuous automated regression at scale.
- Collaborate with Design, Architecture, and Networking teams to convert requirements into simulation scenarios.
- Analyze customer-reported issues and build targeted test cases to prevent regressions.
- Evaluate new simulation technologies, agentic frameworks, and networking standards to improve validation methodology.
Requirements
Minimum technical skills and experience required for successful performance in this role.
- 3+ years of hands-on software development experience.
- Strong proficiency in Python for test automation, tooling, and pipeline development.
- Hands-on experience with network simulation or emulation tools (e.g., Containerlab, GNS3, SONiC testbeds, or similar).
- Experience designing and building simulation agents or traffic generators that emulate real-world networking at scale.
- Practical experience with agentic AI frameworks and LLM-based automation (e.g., LangChain, LangGraph, AutoGen, or similar) applied to test generation or validation.
- Solid regression analysis skills - able to triage, classify, and extract actionable conclusions from large test-result datasets.
- Effective verbal and written communication for cross-functional, multi-timezone collaboration.
Education Requirements
B.Sc. degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field. Equivalent practical experience is explicitly acceptable.
Ways to Stand Out
Preferred qualifications that strengthen an application.
- Experience validating large-scale data center networking solutions or hyperscale topologies (spine-leaf, fat-tree, Clos).
- Familiarity with NVIDIA networking products (BlueField DPUs, ConnectX NICs, Spectrum switches, DOCA) is a plus.
- Deep knowledge of networking protocols and architectures (BGP, EVPN, VXLAN, RDMA/RoCE, Ethernet, IP routing, L2/L3 switching).
- Experience building agentic pipelines for automated test generation, result triage, or validation-code synthesis, including prompt engineering.
- Prior experience translating customer deployment scenarios into structured simulation test cases.
