Job Title
MTS-RTL Verification Engineer
Role Summary
Design and lead RTL verification for high-speed memory and adjacent subsystems. You will define verification strategy, build scalable SystemVerilog/UVM environments, drive coverage closure, and coordinate with design teams to deliver silicon-ready IP and subsystems.
This role emphasizes technical leadership in verification methodology, automation, and high-speed operational readiness.
Experience Level
Mid-level. Years of experience: Not specified.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include planning, implementing, and validating RTL verification to ensure design quality and release readiness.
- Own verification strategy and produce executable verification plans and closure metrics.
- Architect and implement scalable, reusable SystemVerilog/UVM verification environments.
- Drive functional and code coverage closure; develop assertions and targeted stimulus.
- Lead debug and cross-team issue resolution for verification and design problems.
- Provide verification status, risk assessments, and release readiness reports.
- Ensure verification readiness for high-speed operation (initialization, reset, CDC, mode transitions).
- Improve verification methodologies, automation, and regression efficiency.
- Mentor engineers and apply AI-enabled engineering tools to augment verification activities.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and experience required to perform the role.
- Expert in SystemVerilog and UVM; experienced with constrained-random testing and Formal Verification.
- Strong fundamentals with clocks, resets, finite-state machines, CDC, and debug techniques.
- Proven experience verifying high-speed digital designs, preferably in advanced process nodes.
- Hands-on experience with industry simulators, coverage analysis, and debug tools.
- Scripting proficiency for automation (Python, Perl, or Tcl).
Nice-to-have:
- Exposure to power-aware verification.
- Experience with high-speed memory systems or adjacent subsystems.
- Experience working with global, cross-site teams.
Education Requirements
