Senior level with 5+ years of hands-on experience in MEMS sensor devices from development to mass production.
Responsibilities
The key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing vendor MEMS developments and troubleshooting technical issues.
- Collaborating with technical teams to develop specifications for new device technologies.
- Developing simulations and test structures to validate solutions.
- Communicating technical status and risk mitigation strategies to cross-functional teams.
- Utilizing creative problem-solving skills to address novel engineering challenges.
- Occasional international travel (10%) for collaboration with external partners.
Requirements
Must-have skills and experience include:
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or Acoustics focusing on sensors or micro-devices.
- 5+ years of experience in MEMS sensor devices and principles.
- Proficiency in the theory of operation, fabrication, and packaging of MEMS sensors.
- Experience with ASIC design and debugging of MEMS sensors.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Willingness to travel internationally.
Nice-to-have qualifications:
- A post-graduate degree in relevant fields.
- Direct experience with MEMS microphone signal path architecture.
- Experience with modeling and simulation in high volume consumer electronics.
Education Requirements
A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or Acoustics is expected.
