MDC Elite Intern

Role Summary

Work within manufacturing test teams to ensure the testability and manufacturability of integrated circuits from feasibility through production ramp. Execute test and validation activities in a production environment and participate in early product development to evaluate test content implementation.

The role reports into the manufacturing/test organization and focuses on validating structural and functional test content, analyzing product performance, and performing first-level debugging.

Experience Level

Entry-level / Internship. Intended for students or recent graduates; suitable for candidates with limited industry experience.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

• Validate structural and functional test content in a manufacturing environment using digital test equipment.
• Analyze product performance data and identify deviations or failures.
• Perform first-level debug and support root-cause investigation of test failures.
• Participate in early product development to evaluate and validate test content implementation.
• Contribute to ensuring overall testability and manufacturability from component feasibility through production ramp.

Requirements

Must-have and preferred skills:

• Must-have: basic understanding of electronic components and circuit analysis.
• Must-have: strong spoken and written communication skills.
• Must-have: strong problem-solving and prioritization ability; independent and inquisitive mindset.
• Must-have: willingness to learn and adapt in a manufacturing/test environment.
• Nice-to-have: programming knowledge or experience (beneficial for automation or test script development).

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Microelectronics, or a closely related field, or equivalent practical experience.
