Job Title

Manufacturing Test Engineer

Role Summary

Work on board-level manufacturing test engineering for GPU products at NVIDIA's Hsinchu site, interfacing with contract manufacturers (CM), suppliers, and cross-functional teams.

Main mission: develop and validate functional test hardware and software, diagnose board-level issues, deploy test stations and automation tools to improve test stability and yield for production.

Experience Level

Mid-level — typically 5+ years of relevant electronic product experience in manufacturing/test environments.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include development, validation, and support of test solutions for production.

• Develop and validate diagnostic packages, scripts, and functional test software for production.
• Diagnose and analyze board-level test failures with hardware, software, and operations teams.
• Support validation and implementation of new test stations and test equipment.
• Coordinate with contract manufacturers to implement test requirements, improve stability, and increase yield.
• Provide NPI and mass-production (MP) support for board-level test setups and troubleshooting.
• Design tools to automate product definitions, data collection, test execution, and result analysis.
• Develop and maintain test infrastructure ecosystem tools for board-level production.
• Contribute to DFX methodologies for next-generation products for manufacturing purposes.

Requirements

• Must-have: 5+ years of experience with electronic products and familiarity with manufacturing processes and flows.
• Must-have: Strong Linux proficiency and solid programming skills (Python, Shell; DOS noted in source).
• Must-have: Ability to debug board-level test issues and work across hardware/software teams.
• Must-have: Self-motivated, reliable, and able to communicate effectively in Chinese and English for meetings.
• Nice-to-have: Experience with MCU/FPGA programming and debugging.
• Nice-to-have: Familiarity with factory manufacturing environments and test station configuration/validation.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree (BS or MS) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Automatic Control, Systems Engineering, or a closely related technical field as listed in the source.
