Job Title

Manufacturing Test Engineer - Board

Role Summary

Support board-level manufacturing test development for NVIDIA Tesla PCIe products in Hsinchu, working with internal teams and contract manufacturers to bring complex boards from design into mass production. Responsible for test methodology, validation plans, test infrastructure automation, and manufacturability improvements.

Focus on ramping test capacity across multiple contract manufacturing sites and diagnosing board-level issues across hardware, software, and operations.

Experience Level

Mid-level; typically requires 5+ years of experience in manufacturing test and test infrastructure development.

Responsibilities

Core responsibilities include test infrastructure development, production ramp support, and board-level debug:

  • Define and implement test methodology and validation plans for GPU/Tesla PCIe board products.
  • Develop and automate test infrastructure, data collection, test execution, and results analysis tools.
  • Work with contract manufacturers to deploy and maintain manufacturing test flow and capacity across sites.
  • Design cost-effective test and troubleshooting methods for board development and manufacturing.
  • Diagnose test failures and coordinate fixes with hardware, software, and operations teams; provide feedback on debug tools.
  • Support NPI and mass production test setup, diagnostics packaging, and documentation follow-up.

Requirements

Minimum qualifications and technical skills required; "nice-to-have" skills listed separately.

  • 5+ years experience in manufacturing test and test infrastructure development for electronic products.
  • Familiarity with GPU, DPU, and data center platform testing.
  • Deep knowledge of low-level software drivers and kernel.
  • Ability to debug at board/system level and use probing hardware.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to drive projects with minimal supervision; able to work across local and overseas teams.

Nice-to-have:

  • Knowledge of board and data center manufacturing processes and system testing.
  • Experience with x86 assembly, PC architecture, and power management.
  • Familiarity with Shell, Java, Perl, Python and various OS (Windows, CentOS, Ubuntu).
  • Experience in test solution development, failure analysis, and system-level diagnostics.

Education Requirements

BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Automatic Control, or Systems Engineering.
