Role Summary
The ESD/CAD Manager is responsible for overseeing both the CAD flow development and the ESD design methodology. This role ensures efficient, accurate, and compliant design processes while integrating ESD protection principles into the design phase.

Senior, with a minimum of 12 years of overall experience, including at least 3 years in a management role.
Responsibilities
The main responsibilities include:
- Oversee CAD flow development, manage staff and projects, and implement tools for design automation and IP releases.
- Guide and mentor CAD project teams, ensuring operational and technical excellence.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scopes, timelines, and deliverables.
- Establish ESD design guidelines and review electronic designs for ESD compliance.
- Conduct ESD analysis and provide training on ESD-safe design principles.
- Evaluate and implement emerging CAD and ESD technologies.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback for CAD and ESD teams.
Requirements
Candidates should meet the following:
- Advanced proficiency in CAD software platforms (e.g., Cadence Virtuoso, Synopsys Primetime).
- Deep understanding of CAD design principles and engineering processes.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Perl and Python.
- Solid understanding of electrostatic discharge principles and ESD design analysis tools.
- Exceptional leadership and people management skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- High level of organization and attention to detail.
