Role Summary

Lead verification for high-speed IPs and subsystems (PCIe and related) and manage a verification team at Micron's Hyderabad site. Drive SV/UVM-based verification strategy, delivery, automation, portability, and silicon bring-up.

Experience Level

Senior — requires extensive verification leadership experience. The posting specifies 14+ years overall verification experience, including 12+ years in IP/SS verification and 3+ years managing teams.

Responsibilities

Accountable for planning, execution, and delivery of IP and subsystem verification workstreams and for team leadership.

• Define and execute verification plans for high-speed IPs and subsystems (PCIe and related).
• Lead IP/SS verification using SystemVerilog and UVM; establish best-in-class methodologies and flows.
• Plan and scale verification environments for portability, automation, and reusability.
• Coordinate with architecture and design teams to align deliverables and requirements through product qualification.
• Lead and drive silicon bring-up activities.
• Ramp and manage teams to enable parallel verification of multiple IPs/subsystems with high quality and efficiency.

Requirements

Key technical and leadership requirements.

• Must-have
  • 14+ years of verification-domain experience.
  • 12+ years of IP/sub-system verification experience using SystemVerilog and UVM.
  • Expert-level knowledge of PCIe (Root Complex, Endpoint, SR-IOV).
  • 3+ years managing teams of 10+ engineers, including mentoring and career planning.
  • Experience collaborating with geographically distributed engineering teams.
  • Familiarity with SOC verification methodologies, storage controller and processor architectures.
  • Proven ability to improve methodologies and drive automation for efficient execution.
  • Experience leading silicon bring-up and driving delivery to product qualification.
• Nice-to-have
  • Familiarity with industry interfaces such as PCIe-NVMe, NAND, and AXI.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (as stated in job qualifications).
