LTspice Modeling Engineer

Role Summary

The LTspice Modeling Engineer will be responsible for creating and maintaining simulation models, working on technology improvements, and interfacing with various teams to support product development and customer inquiries.

Experience Level

Senior Level Position with 5+ years of experience in switching power converters or analog IC design.

Responsibilities

The key responsibilities for this position include:

  • Creating LTspice simulation models.
  • Maintaining and debugging existing models.
  • Working on special projects to improve tools and techniques.
  • Interfacing with IC Designers, Application Engineers, Marketing, Sales, and Management.
  • Mentoring junior engineers.
  • Developing technology platforms for model development.
  • Supporting field and customer inquiries regarding existing models.
  • Engaging in technical writing and presentations.

Requirements

The following skills and experience are required:

  • BSEE or MSEE with 5+ years experience in switching power converters or analog IC design.
  • Strong background in analog and digital circuits and circuit analysis techniques.
  • Analytical skills in power electronics and control theory.
  • Experience with IC applications and modern laboratory equipment.
  • Programming knowledge in MatLab/Simulink, Python, and C/C++.
  • Good technical writing and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
