LPDDR Product Architect

Role Summary

Lead product architecture for LPDDR-based DRAM solutions focused on AI inference at the edge. Collaborate with customers, system architects, and internal teams to define memory features, drive module architecture pathfinding, and turn system-level requirements into product specifications.

Experience Level

Senior — minimum 12+ years of engineering experience.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include system analysis, architecture definition, and technical leadership.

• Analyze system architectures using modeling, simulation, and prototyping tools.
• Identify system bottlenecks with customers and propose memory-driven solutions.
• Lead pathfinding for LPDDR-based module architectures and define module-level tradeoffs.
• Define memory features to improve DRAM performance for AI workloads.
• Translate system requirements into product specifications and direction.
• Mentor junior engineers and product architects.

Core technical and experience requirements.

Must-have:

• 12+ years of engineering experience in memory or related fields.
• Experience with LPDDR and/or DRAM module architectures.
• Understanding of memory hierarchy, memory controllers, PHY, and SoC/ASIC design.

Nice-to-have:

• Knowledge of memory subsystems in high-performance computing.
• Experience with TSV, stacked packaging, or 3D packaging technologies.
• Exposure to hardware/software co-optimization or AI frameworks.
• Experience participating in JEDEC or similar industry standards groups.
• Japanese and English language proficiency.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
