Role Summary

The Lead Verification Engineer will be responsible for driving verification strategies and methodologies for high-performance data center networking solutions. This includes working with various architectures, designs, and leading verification efforts in an Agile environment.

Experience Level

This position requires a seasoned candidate with 7+ years of hands-on experience in IP/SoC/ASIC verification, particularly in high-speed protocols and testbench design.

Responsibilities

As a Lead Verification Engineer, your primary responsibilities include:

  • Leading verification efforts for IP or subsystem designs in high-performance networking.
  • Architecting and developing testbench infrastructure and verification environments.
  • Creating and implementing comprehensive verification, test, and coverage plans.
  • Developing reusable verification components and analyzing coverage metrics.
  • Using scripting languages such as Python or Perl to enhance automation.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams and mentoring junior engineers.
  • Contributing to continuous improvements in verification methodologies.

Requirements

Candidates should possess the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or Computer Science.
  • Over 7 years of experience in IP/SoC/ASIC verification.
  • Familiarity with high-speed protocols such as PCIe, Ethernet, and CXL.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative setting.

Education Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or Computer Science is required.
