Role Summary

The Lead Validation Engineer is responsible for planning and executing comprehensive validation of digital circuitry across a platform to verify key product indicators (KPIs) defined in the system compliance matrix.

The role focuses on designing automated measurement methods, preparing instrumentation, scripting and test boards before silicon arrives, and reporting validation results clearly to engineering teams.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include:

• Define and implement validation strategies for digital circuitry and platform-level KPIs.
• Design and develop automated measurement methods and test scripts.
• Prepare and validate test boards, instruments, and bench setups prior to silicon arrival.
• Execute validation tests, collect and analyze measurement data.
• Produce concise, clear validation reports and present findings to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with design, bring-up, and system teams to identify and resolve issues.
• Maintain and improve automation frameworks, instrumentation, and test infrastructure.

Requirements

Must-have:

• Proven experience validating digital circuits and platform-level functionality.
• Hands-on experience with lab instrumentation and bench setup (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, pattern generators, etc.).
• Experience developing automated test scripts and frameworks (e.g., Python, Tcl, or similar).
• Experience preparing test boards and ensuring readiness before silicon arrival.
• Strong data-analysis and technical reporting skills.
• Effective collaboration and communication across engineering teams.

Nice-to-have:

• Experience with FPGA-based testbeds, ATE, JTAG, or semiconductor bring-up.
• Familiarity with signal integrity, timing analysis, or system-level validation methodologies.
