Key Responsibilities

The key responsibilities of the Lead Silicon Design Engineer include:

  • Defining micro-architecture based on higher-level architecture definitions.
  • Developing and executing design and development plans for IPs.
  • Conducting RTL design, IP integration, and documentation.
  • Serving as a senior technical reviewer for architecture and implementation reviews.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to develop comprehensive testing plans, including compliance and interoperability testing.
  • Reviewing design implementations and verification plans, providing constructive feedback.
  • Mentoring junior engineers within the team.

Qualifications

Ideal candidates will have a strong background in digital design and verification, experience with Verilog RTL design, and familiarity with scripting tools like Perl and Shell. They should be prepared to work collaboratively across teams and be capable of influencing project outcomes.

Education Requirements

A Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science is required, with a Master’s Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
