Lead Server Product Architect
QualcommRole Summary
Qualcomm's Data Center team is developing high-performance, energy-efficient server solutions for data center applications. We are looking for a talented Server Product Architect to focus on defining the architecture of a Server SoC that meets critical KPIs.
Experience Level
Senior. Ideal candidates will have 10+ years of relevant experience, with specific educational background in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
Responsibilities
The Server Product Architect will have the following responsibilities:
- Collaborate with chip and platform architects to define and develop Product and SoC architecture.
- Develop a server roadmap and feature set across architecture domains.
- Perform analytical modeling of key server KPIs for performance, power, area, and cost.
- Create detailed architectural specification documents.
- Communicate effectively within a dynamic team of engineers and technologists.
Requirements
Applicants should meet the following requirements:
- Must have a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in relevant fields and significant experience in Hardware or Systems Engineering.
- Experience in architecture of CPU and/or SoCs, with emphasis on server solutions.
- Strong knowledge in various architecture domains such as coherency management, power management, and security.
- Proficiency in digital ASIC design and good technical documentation skills.
- Expertise in ARM architecture is a plus.
Education Requirements
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is required. Relevant experience varies from 8 to 15 years depending on educational background.
