Lead Product Engineer - MIPI Protocol

Drives development of products and technologies and has material responsibility for the success of that product/technology. The PE is expected to be an expert in MIPI domain of Verification IP family- protocol and product-wise, focusing on accelerating VIP portfolio adoption at Cadence’s top tier customers by supporting pre-sales technical activities. Strong verification expertise and understanding customer design and verification flows are essential.
Experience Level
Senior level, 7 to 12 years of experience required.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Leads projects with high resource, risk and/or complexity.
- Develops and leads large and multiple cross-functional and cross-organizational programs, initiatives, and activities.
- Continually evaluates technology effectiveness/data interoperability of complex systems.
- Manages issue resolution with vendors on tech/product quality and influences vendor roadmap.
- Communicates highly-complex ideas and persuades others, often at senior levels.
Requirements
Required skills and qualifications include:
- At least 7 to 12 years of experience with Verification and Design.
- Working knowledge of MIPI (CSI2/DSI/I3C/PHY) protocols.
- Experience with Developing Verification environments using System Verilog.
- Working knowledge and experience with the UVM methodology.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Strong written, verbal and presentation skills.
- Ability to establish a close working relationship with both customer peers and management.
