Role Summary

The Lead GPU Verification Engineer will be part of the GFX Verification team. This position involves ensuring the verification of GPU designs, aligning with the demands of ongoing projects.

Experience Level

This position requires a minimum of 8 years of experience in ASIC verification, with proven skills in design verification and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities of this role include:

• Collaborating with lead architects and block design teams to understand features for verification.
• Developing a robust test plan for synthetic testing and real workload traces.
• Debugging verification test failures and working with design teams to resolve defects.
• Ensuring that next-generation GPU architecture meets performance, power, and functionality expectations.

Requirements

Applicants must possess the following qualifications:

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in ASIC verification.
• Proficiency in Verilog and System Verilog.
• Experience with C/C++ programming in Linux and Windows environments.
• Knowledge of ASIC design and ability to debug Verilog RTL code using simulation and emulation tools.
• Familiarity with scripting languages such as Perl and Python.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively both in teams and independently.
• Graphics pipeline experience and knowledge of computer architecture are preferred.

Education Requirements

A B.E/B.Tech or M.E/M.Tech degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering with a specialization in Digital Systems or VLSI is required.
