Role Summary

Lead verification activities for high-performance optical networking subsystems. Work with systems and digital design teams to define verification strategies, implement testbenches, and validate major architectural blocks using simulation and formal methods.

Responsibilities

Primary duties focus on planning, implementing, and executing verification for complex digital blocks in optical products.

• Define and implement verification strategies with systems and design engineers.
• Develop UVM/SystemVerilog testbenches, agents, scoreboards, and verification components.
• Create verification plans including functional coverage and formal verification plans.
• Execute coverage-driven verification, manage regression suites, and diagnose failures.
• Own functional validation of major architectural blocks using simulation and formal methods.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and key competencies.

• Strong SystemVerilog and SystemVerilog Assertions (SVA) expertise.
• Proven experience with UVM-based verification environments.
• Familiarity with commercial EDA simulators and verification toolflows.
• Experience with coverage-driven verification, regressions, and failure debug.
• Knowledge of formal verification methods (preferred).
• Understanding of DSP concepts, Forward Error Correction (FEC), or protocols such as OTN and Ethernet.
• Programming and scripting skills: Python, C/C++, Make, and Git.
• Self-motivated, systematic problem-solver with ownership of deliverables.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related scientific/technical field (degree stated in source). No alternative-equivalent language provided.
