Role Summary

The Lead DFT Engineer will join our Test Development team, focusing on ensuring quality for advanced MPSoC designs at 7nm and beyond. The engineer will take on a pivotal role in testing, validating, and delivering complex silicon products across various market segments.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with RTL design teams to ensure proper insertion of DFT architectures within SoC and IP designs.
  • Develop and verify robust DFT schemes, handling digital logic testing using various fault models.
  • Lead the debugging process for DFT-related issues on both bench and ATE, driving root-cause analysis.
  • Work closely with NPI, Test Engineering, and Product teams to produce high-quality test content on schedule.
  • Implement cost-effective test strategies with built-in diagnostic capabilities to optimize methodologies.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by mentoring colleagues and sharing effective practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
  • Proficient in RTL design using Verilog with practical experience in simulation and synthesis.
  • Hands-on experience in DFT architecture and implementation at both the IP and SoC levels, using tools for fault models.
  • Familiarity with MBIST architecture and ATE-based validation processes is preferred.
  • Comfortable working within Linux environments and proficient in scripting languages such as Perl, Tcl, or Python.

Education Requirements

A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field is recommended, with emphasis on digital design and test methodologies. Relevant certifications in DFT tools would be advantageous.
