Lead Design Verification Engineer - Coherency and Cache Controller Verification

Role Summary

This position involves leading verification efforts for Coherency Manager and Cache Controller components. The Lead Design Verification Engineer will collaborate with CPU architects and designers to ensure high-quality processor designs.

Senior level with over 15 years of industry experience required.

Responsibilities

The key responsibilities include:

• Leading verification activities for Coherency Manager and Cache Controller IP to closure.
• Collaborating with design teams to understand microarchitectural and functional specifications.
• Developing and executing comprehensive verification plans.
• Creating directed and constrained random test cases in SystemVerilog, Assembly, and C.
• Employing formal verification techniques to enhance random verification.
• Analyzing verification coverage metrics and closing gaps.
• Automating verification flows and regression environments using scripting languages.
• Mentoring junior engineers and providing technical guidance.

Requirements

Qualifications include:

• Master’s degree in Electronics/Electrical/Computer Engineering.
• 15+ years of relevant verification experience.
• Expertise in Multicore and Multicluster Coherency, Cache Controllers, or similar blocks.
• Deep knowledge of verification methodologies, including UVM.
• Proficiency in SystemVerilog, Verilog, C/C++, and Assembly.
• Understanding of interconnect and coherency protocols such as AXI and ACE.
• Strong scripting skills in Python, Perl, TCL, or Shell.

Education Requirements

Master’s degree in Electronics/Electrical/Computer Engineering is required.
