Job Title

Lead Customer Engagement Engineer - Voltus

Role Summary

This role supports Foundry PDK teams and Design Service teams to enable EM/IR and thermal signoff technologies through techfile development and reference flow creation for advanced-node and 3DIC designs.

Work includes validating modeling assumptions and ensuring signoff tool readiness for large SoC, chiplet and multi-die flows.

Experience Level

Senior. (Lead-level role; no specific years of experience stated.)

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include enabling signoff flows, collaborating with foundry and extraction teams, and supporting design services from early design through tape-out.

  • Develop and validate EM/IR and thermal techfiles for Voltus and Celsius to meet foundry signoff requirements.
  • Define and validate power integrity, EM, and thermal modeling assumptions aligned with foundry requirements.
  • Collaborate with PDK, extraction, and signoff teams to ensure tool readiness for advanced-node and 3DIC processes.
  • Create and maintain design reference flows for EM/IR and thermal signoff used by design service teams.
  • Support hierarchical and full-chip signoff flows from early design stages to tape-out, including flow debugging and convergence for large SoC and multi-die designs.
  • Perform electro-thermal co-analysis and advanced-node thermal analysis as required.

Requirements

Key technical skills and environment expectations. Must-have items are listed first.

  • Must-have: Strong understanding of EM/IR and thermal fundamentals and signoff methodologies.
  • Must-have: Experience with UNIX/Linux environments and scripting (Tcl, Python).
  • Must-have: Familiarity with digital backend and signoff flows; experience supporting hierarchical and full-chip signoff.
  • Must-have: Experience using or supporting tools such as Voltus and Celsius for IR/EM and electro-thermal analysis.
  • Nice-to-have: Experience with advanced-node, chiplet, and 3DIC thermal analysis and working directly with foundry PDK teams.

Education Requirements

Not specified.
