Role Summary
The Lead Application Engineer will work closely with the Sales team to identify and scope opportunities for the Cadence Verification Division’s products. They will plan, execute, and manage key technical evaluations, conduct trainings, and provide technical expertise to address client queries.
Experience Level
Senior, with a minimum of 6 years of industry experience.
Responsibilities
The responsibilities include:
- Identify and scope opportunities for Cadence Verification Division’s products.
- Plan, execute, and manage key technical evaluations and benchmarks.
- Train and support customers on various projects.
- Conduct trainings, presentations, and demos.
- Provide technical expertise for client queries requiring expert involvement.
- Collaborate with corporate engineering and sales/marketing teams on product improvements.
Requirements
Candidates should meet the following requirements:
- BS degree in Computer Science (CS) or Electrical Engineering (EE).
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in Verification/Prototyping and consumer application design/debugging with EDA solutions.
- Hands-on experience with SOC Emulation/Acceleration, UVM, Verification IPs, or Transactors is a plus.
- Familiarity with Simulators (IES, VCS, etc.) and emulators/accelerators (PXP, Zebu, Veloce).
- Knowledge of Linux and TCL is required.
- Good program management skills.
- Effective team player with good communication skills in English.
- Current passport required with no travel limitations.
Education Requirements
Minimum BS level degree in CS or EE is required.
