Lead AMS Verification Engineer
Role Summary
Lead engineer responsible for verifying analog and mixed-signal integrated circuit designs prior to pattern generation/mask development. The role focuses on confirming adherence to design rules and specifications through simulations, laboratory testing, analysis, and vendor capability reviews.
Position is part of the Engineering - Product Development organization in Bengaluru and requires working independently from the product design team to provide objective verification and validation results.
Experience Level
Senior — Lead role. Minimum 5–7 years of relevant experience in analog/mixed-signal design verification or related verification/testing roles.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include:
- Verify analog and mixed-signal circuit designs against specifications and established design rules prior to mask development.
- Plan, run and analyze experimental tests and laboratory evaluations to confirm device performance and reliability.
- Develop and run software simulations to validate circuit behavior and corner cases.
- Select test components and equipment based on specification and reliability analysis.
- Review vendor capabilities and qualification to support product development.
- Document verification procedures, test results, and ensure traceability to specifications.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve design issues, while maintaining independence from the design team for objective verification.
Requirements

- 5–7 years of hands-on experience in analog/mixed-signal verification, testing, or related engineering roles.
- Experience with circuit simulation tools and setting up verification testbenches.
- Practical experience in lab testing, data collection, and analysis of analog/Mixed-Signal devices.
- Ability to independently plan and execute verification activities and produce clear, actionable reports.
- Experience evaluating vendor/test-house capabilities and collaborating with external partners.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to present findings to stakeholders.

- Ability to ramp quickly on new systems and processes and manage time to meet project deadlines.
- Experience working cross-functionally in product development environments.
Education Requirements
