Responsibilities
The key responsibilities include:
- Planning, estimating area/time, scheduling, and delegating tasks to meet project milestones.
- Communicating with cross-functional teams for effective project execution.
- Creating and reviewing layout documents to meet quality standards.
- Hiring, mentoring, and retaining a diverse team of layout designers.
- Designing and developing transistor to macro level analog and mixed signal layouts, particularly for high-speed SERDES blocks.
- Performing device level floorplanning, placement, routing, and physical verification.
- Troubleshooting physical verification issues to achieve clean and desired results.
Requirements
The role requires the following qualifications:
- At least 12 years of experience in analog and mixed signal circuit layout, including 5 years of people management experience.
- Hands-on experience in complete analog layout from floorplanning to GDS release.
- Strong knowledge of electrical and electronic fundamentals, particularly in FinFET technologies.
- Proficiency in EDA tools and in-depth knowledge of FinFET rules and techniques.
- Strong understanding of electromigration, ESD, and LUP fundamentals.
- Experience in product release flow and quality checks.
