Role Summary
Join Arm's Solution Engineering verification team in Chandler to develop testbenches and test suites for IP used across Enterprise, Automotive and Client markets. The role focuses on functional verification, debugging with design teams, and enabling reconfigurable IP features.

Responsibilities
The engineer will plan and execute functional verification activities and work closely with design and verification teams.
- Create and execute test plans; implement testbenches and test cases.
- Perform functional verification to meet quality and schedule targets.
- Collaborate with design teams to review microarchitectural specifications and debug issues.
- Develop IP features that support reconfigurable designs.
- Document verification results and provide ongoing support to stakeholders.
- Contribute to cross-team solutions and adopt best practices across Arm.
Requirements
Key technical skills and practical experience required or strongly expected.

Must-have: Practical experience across verification stages: test plan creation, testbench implementation, test case development, documentation and support.

Must-have: Experience with front-end verification tools and flows (dynamic and static simulation, UPF, debuggers); examples: Questa, VCS, Jasper Gold, Verdi.

Must-have: Knowledge of coverage methodologies: functional, toggle, code coverage.

Must-have: Experience with reconfigurable IP or subsystem design and hands-on collaboration with design teams for debug.

Nice-to-have: Object-oriented programming concepts and scripting (Perl, Python or similar).

Nice-to-have: Familiarity with ARM-based designs/architectures, OTP/fuse models, JTAG/TAP, SoC system debug and DFT methodologies (scan insertion, RTL testability).
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field is stated as the expected academic background.
