Intern - DRAM Product Test Development Engineer

Role Summary

This is an internship focused on developing, debugging, and maintaining test software and supporting test hardware for DRAM devices. The intern will work with R&D and global teams to improve test algorithms, optimize production test flows, and learn device specifications.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities during the internship include developing test code and supporting test hardware, debugging issues, and validating program quality.

• Develop new tests and test algorithms covering software and hardware requirements, defect coverage, characterization, trending, process flow, and test times.
• Independently debug test issues, identify root causes, and provide feedback to internal and external teams.
• Perform statistical data analysis and analytics to validate programs and support program releases.
• Evaluate and verify yields and quality with global teams to ensure products meet data sheet specifications.
• Learn device specifications and participate in test hardware and test flow design and optimization.

Must-have:

• Familiarity with general-purpose programming logic and experience or familiarity with C/C++ or Python.
• Basic Unix/Linux command-line skills.
• Fundamental electrical engineering knowledge relevant to memory devices and test hardware.
• Knowledge of digital systems and digital logic.
• Strong logical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Basic semiconductor device knowledge and awareness of semiconductor manufacturing.
• Basic English communication skills and ability to work in a multi-national team (team environment will use English and Chinese).

Nice-to-have:

• Basic knowledge of transistor operation and deeper semiconductor device fundamentals.
