Role Summary

The Infinity Fabric transport layer verification team seeks an experienced pre-silicon verification engineer to focus on the verification of configurable switches and die-to-die interconnects. The role involves working on a critical component of AMD's products across diverse sectors including AI, Client, Server, Graphics, and Semi-Custom applications.

Experience Level

A strong background in verification engineering is required, focusing on complex design blocks at IP or SoC levels utilizing SystemVerilog/UVM or related technologies. The candidate should have experience leading verification teams and executing silicon design and verification processes effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Create project schedules and staging plans for the development of new features.
  • Enhance SystemVerilog / UVM-based testbenches to validate new AI and Server product features.
  • Collaborate with architects, RTL designers, performance engineers, and post-silicon validation engineers to gain expertise in the Infinity Fabric architecture.
  • Lead a team of verification engineers, ensuring that verification efforts align with project timelines.
  • Engage with project management for the coordinated development of new features.
  • Provide mentorship to verification engineers.

Requirements

  • Proven extensive experience in the industry, with strong foundations in Systems & SoC architecture.
  • Experience in architecting complex verification environments in SystemVerilog or C++, as well as scripting knowledge (Perl, Ruby, Make, etc.).
  • Ability to implement comprehensive verification tests, coverages, and assertions.
  • Demonstrated leadership in conducting complete verification processes and managing verification metrics.
  • Excellent communication and presentation capabilities are essential.

Education Requirements

A Master’s degree in a related discipline is preferred but not mandatory.
