Role Summary
This role involves leading the High-Speed I/F subsystem design and development for automotive SoCs (R-Car series). The Engineering Manager will be responsible for technical decision-making and organizational leadership.

Responsibilities
The Engineering Manager will:
- Lead High-Speed I/F subsystem design and development for automotive SoCs.
- Define specifications and architectural direction for subsystems like PCIe, UCIe, USB, and UFS.
- Make prioritization decisions balancing performance, power, quality, schedule, and resources.
- Work with SoC architects and project management to ensure SoC optimization.
- Resolve critical technical and organizational issues during design and verification phases.
- Oversee technical coordination with third-party IP vendors.
- Manage a global development organization across Japan, India, and Vietnam.
Requirements
Essential qualifications include:
- Experience as a technical lead at the subsystem or IP level.
- Proven ability to coordinate engineers and stakeholders.
- Fluency in English; Japanese proficiency at business level.
Preferred qualifications include:
- Experience in a management role (Engineering Manager, Section Manager, etc.).
- Experience managing multi-member and/or multi-site teams.
- Hands-on experience in high-speed interface specifications, design, or verification.
- Experience in automotive SoC development.
