Hardware Verification Engineer — SystemVerilog/UVM (AI DSP)

Role Summary

Responsible for verifying complex digital designs for AI DSP blocks. Develop and maintain SystemVerilog/UVM testbenches, execute verification plans, and collaborate with design and firmware teams to identify and resolve functional issues.

Position is part of the hardware verification team in Austin focused on RTL and system-level verification of DSP components.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

• Design and implement SystemVerilog/UVM testbenches and verification environments.
• Create and execute verification plans, testcases, and coverage-driven tests.
• Debug RTL and verification failures; isolate root causes and coordinate fixes with design teams.
• Develop scripts and automation (e.g., Python) to support verification and regression flows.
• Run regressions, analyze results, and report verification status.
• Participate in design and peer code reviews to ensure verification quality.

Requirements

Must-have qualifications:

• Proficiency in SystemVerilog and UVM for testbench development.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python for automation.
• Strong understanding of digital design fundamentals and RTL behavior.
• Practical experience verifying digital designs and developing verification environments.

Nice-to-have:

• Experience with AI DSP or ASIC verification projects.
• Familiarity with verification automation and regression infrastructures.
