Hardware Systems Engineer - Board Design

Role Summary

The Hardware Systems Engineer will focus on high-speed board design and work on developing next-generation power-efficient processors for Apple's devices. You will be responsible for various tasks including schematic capture, circuit design, and debugging at the system level while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.

This is a senior-level position, requiring significant experience in hardware design and engineering.

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing specifications in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Schematic capture, circuit design, and layout constraint definitions.
• Implementing FPGA and CPLD developments.
• Carrying out board bring-up, testing, and characterization.
• Performing power and signal integrity analysis.
• Designing and characterizing high-speed interfaces.
• Debugging a variety of issues on test boards and production systems.

Requirements

Candidates must possess a BS in Electrical, Computer, or a related degree with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience. The ideal applicant would have a strong foundation in electrical engineering concepts and practical experience with schematic-level board design.
