Role Summary

Internship supporting the design, development, and optimization of AI ecosystem solutions applied to hardware engineering domains (system, board, package, thermal, signal integrity). Work combines hands-on hardware engineering tasks with AI and data-driven methods to improve design efficiency, analysis quality, and hardware/software integration.

Experience Level

Entry-level (Internship). Intended for students; requires at least one year remaining in an academic program.

Responsibilities

Typical responsibilities for this internship include direct support of engineering and AI tasks under supervision.

• Support design and development of AI software architectures and algorithms for hardware engineering problems.
• Perform data analysis, modeling, and scripting to support engineering decisions and improve design workflows.
• Implement and tune models for performance and accuracy; assist in applied research tasks.
• Integrate software solutions with hardware platforms and assist with system-level deployment and validation.
• Collaborate with product teams and external partners; document results and present findings to stakeholders.

Requirements

Clear distinction between required minimums and additional desirable skills.

• Must-have: Minimum 3 months experience in data analysis, modeling, scripting, or programming; medium to advanced English proficiency suitable for technical reading and writing.
• Nice-to-have: Experience programming in Python or MATLAB; scripting for data analysis and post-processing; familiarity with platform hardware design and electrical circuits; prior work or coursework in model tuning or hardware/software integration.
• Location-specific: Candidates accepting employment in Mexico must provide Mexican identification (NSS, RFC, CURP) as required by local hiring process.

Education Requirements

Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related STEM field with at least one year remaining as an active student.
