Haifa Lab Technician - Student
Role Summary
Maintain and support state-of-the-art system-based testing platforms and CPU validation labs to minimize downtime during silicon bring-up and verification cycles.
Work directly with validation and design engineering teams to deploy, configure and keep test benches and custom emulation platforms operational.
Experience Level
Entry-level (Student / Internship). Intended for currently enrolled students; no minimum professional experience required.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities for lab maintenance and support:
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on CPU validation platforms, test benches, and custom fixtures.
- Diagnose and repair hardware failures at the component level on custom test boards, power delivery networks, and interface cards using oscilloscopes, DMMs, and logic analyzers.
- Assemble, configure, and deploy new system-based testing platforms and test environments in collaboration with engineering teams.
- Monitor lab inventory and manage critical spare parts (sockets, cables, power supplies); coordinate replacements with vendors.
- Ensure lab operations and testing platforms comply with internal safety protocols and industry standards.

- Strong logical problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking).
- Attention to detail, teamwork, and ability to learn independently.
- Availability to work on-site a minimum of 4 days per week.

- Hands-on technical experience in electronics, software, or mechanical disciplines.
- Practical troubleshooting and diagnostic experience.
- Leadership or coordination experience in team settings.
Education Requirements
Currently enrolled in a B.Sc. technical degree program (examples: Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics/Electrical) at an accredited institution; at least two years remaining until graduation.
