Graduate ML Hardware Modelling Engineer

Role Summary

Entry-level engineering role on Arm's ML hardware modelling team in Raanana. Work on NPU hardware modelling, develop features on the HW modelling platform, evaluate performance and collaborate with HW design, verification and compiler teams.

Experience Level

Entry-level / Graduate role. Intended for recent graduates or those on-track to graduate; no specific years of professional experience required.

Responsibilities

Deliver and maintain ML hardware models and related software, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and support customer-facing deliverables.

• Design, implement and evaluate new features in the HW modelling platform.
• Write well-tested, high-quality code for ML HW modelling projects.
• Collaborate with ML HW design and verification teams to specify, verify and debug designs.
• Work with the compiler team to optimise performance on the HW model.
• Support the model as an external deliverable in customer engagements.
• Participate in code reviews and use source-control workflows.

Requirements

• Strong programming ability, preferably in C or C++.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and communicate effectively.
• Deliver well-tested, maintainable code and participate in debugging and verification activities.

Nice-to-have:

• Source control experience (Git, Gerrit, Repo).
• Familiarity with SystemC and HLS flows.
• Understanding of hardware design and modelling methodologies.
• Experience with agile software development methods.
• Knowledge of machine learning applications, frameworks, signal processing or control systems.

Education Requirements

Hold (or be on track to hold) a Bachelor's or Master’s degree, or equivalent practical experience, in Machine Learning, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science or a similar technical field. Applicants are asked to provide an academic transcript.
